Hi, I'm Silke.
I'm a German-Canadian marketing and graphic design specialist with over 20 years of industry experience in branding, marketing, market research, editorial and surface pattern design.
I love to work with a selective number of startups, small business owners, creative individuals and entrepreneurs visually tell their stories and build strong visual brand identities aligned with the brand's vision, mission, core values that resonate with their target audience.
Within my work, I value clean and professional designs to create clear visual concepts with concise graphic and typographic elements that are beautiful and functional.
Meet Silke (zil-ke)
Outside of work, you'll find Silke in her little art studio with palette knifes and brushes making art, baking sourdough bread and exchanging pizza recipes with her son. You can find Silke on local farmers markets and most often in the international food aisles of grocery stores as she calls herself a foodie, tasting new ingredients and flavours for the next healthy meal she shares with family and friends. Silke loves hiking with her husband and taking her furry friend on nature walks in her big mountain backyard.
Her passion for art and design leads her to learn new skills in the industry such as laser cutting and surface pattern design where she transfers her own illustrations onto products for fabric, wallpaper and home decor.
