GRAPHIC DESIGN REVELSTOKE
~ A Creative Journey ~
VAN WYLICK DESIGN, owned and operated by Silke van Wylick, is a small graphic design business in Revelstoke, BC that specializes in creating modern and effective art and graphic design work.
In addition to Silke’s travel experiences, nature and wildlife are huge inspirations in her art and design projects. Presently, Silke explores all kind of shapes and patterns in a variety of mediums. Especially bright colours and textures, but also minimal designs reflect her style.
COMING FROM
Silke was born in Germany, raised in Berlin. Later on, she spent most of her time in Augsburg and Hamburg. She started as a marketing research analyst in the banking industry. With 20 years of experience in marketing and communication, Silke now focuses on branding and graphic design projects.
A BRAND NEW START
After coming to Canada in 2010, Silke started as a marketing manager in the hospitality industry. Prince George in British Columbia was her first place to live and work. With a passion for graphic and design, Silke became a self-taught artist and graphic designer. She worked several years as a graphic design specialist in the brand team of Pomeroy Lodging in Grande Prairie.

BECOMING CANADIAN
While living and working her Canadian dream, Silke became a proud Canadian with deep roots to her German past.
Professional travels brought Silke to Eastern Canada, North Bay in Ontario and even further to the majestic island of Newfoundland and Labrador.
ARRIVED
When Silke moved back to Western Canada in 2019, British Columbia became her new home. Always inspired by nature and wildlife, Silke is now living in the charming little mountain town of Revelstoke by the Columbia River.
